In my mind, you sound like a bass guitar.
Speaking a sort of scratchy melody,
the way you whisper your way through life
in a yelling manner.
I feel you skewing my impressionable vision,
like sun bleeding through stained glass.
Your gaze gnaws softly at the tops of my cheekbones,
I can’t help but look away.
